Writer and brand strategist Megan Pallan is the editorial force behind PaperTree Communications. Megan partners with a diverse array of global wine marketing clients to deliver innovative content informed by industry trends, consumer insights and brand objectives. Her career spans two decades in message strategy, writing, editing and PR, including more than 15 years in the wine and spirits industry. 

Prior to launching Atlanta-based Papertree Communications, Megan spent 10 years at E. & J. Gallo Winery, where she spearheaded the company's first in-house creative content team. As Manager of Content Services, Megan directed a team of writers, developed messaging and wrote and edited content for more than 50 brands across Gallo’s venerable domestic and imports portfolio. Prior to that, she orchestrated tasting events for the winery in the Northeast.

A Certified Specialist of Wine, Megan earned her master’s degree in Communication from the University of Miami. She began her career writing ad copy for South Florida lifestyle magazine, Ocean Drive, and later worked in public relations at Planet Hollywood London. She also was an Account Executive at a boutique PR agency in Miami and Director of Special Events at Columbia University in New York.
